This is the classic Petzl helmet, the standard for mountaineering, climbing and caving. Extremely durable, this helmet can withstand the harsh conditions and rough treatment that are often encountered in the high mountains or deep caves.

The Petzl Ecrin series of helmets is considered by many to be one of the best all-around helmets made. One of the best features of the Ecrin helmet is the ease of adjustability between users or for different layering of clothing on the head. This is done by thumb adjustment wheels that are mounted on both sides of the helmet just above the ears. It also features four permanently attached lugs that are designed to retain headlamp straps onto the helmet. One size fits all (head circumference 21" - 25" (Hat size 6 3/4 - 8)). Weight 15.5 oz.
